Straight Through Processing

This example demonstrates how HUGIN can be used as an engine for identifying insurance claims that qualify for straigt through processing, i.e., immediate payment. The model is deterministic such that either a claim qualifies for straight through processing or not.

Straight Through Processing

The only case where a claim qualifies for straight through processing is a claim with a low reserve that has been made by a customer with two or more policies and who made no recent claims and who is not in departure where the policy under which the claim is made is more than 6 months.

This type of analysis can be combined with a fraud detection model.
