This example demonstrates how HUGIN can be used as an engine for identifying insurance policies that should be reviewed for profitability. We want to identify policies with many claims within one or two years, or has a high claims ratio.
Should the policy be reviewed regarding profitability:
If the policy has had more than two claims within one year, three claims within two years or has a high claims ratio, then the policy should be reviewed.
