This example demonstrates how HUGIN can be used as an engine for identifying persons who have a high risk of early retirement. We want to identify persons with a high risk of early retirement such that we can take preventive actions.
High early retirement risk
As an example consider a female at the age of 56. She would have a low risk of early retirement. However, when we know she lives in Sydjylland, the probability increases above a threshold of 2 per cent changing the color from green to yellow, which could produce a warning sign. If we, in addition, know she has a flex job, then the probability increases further changing the color to red and preventive action needs to be taken.
